FIGHTERS/DESTROYERS
The Luftwaffe's fighter development programs started with biplanes in 1935 and ended with jet fighters
in 1945. From single engine short ranged fighters all the way to twin-engined Destroyers (Heavy
fighters), the range of capabilities was varied and continually expanded as the types were
developed.
