HOW TO SUPPORT THE SITE (and why?):
I'm not eloquent, I'm not suave, and I'm a bit of an introvert. So I'm going to be honest and blunt here. I used to accept donations to help support this site, and you might find the odd "donate" link that directed you here. However, donations should goto a warbird restoration or a museum. If you want to help support what I do here then I welcome it. My thoughts about this site have changed over the last 20 years. It originally started as a small project that has since grown in size to a level I would never have thought possible, and my dreams for this site is to make it the goto site for all things warbirds. Obviously I have a ways to go but I think I've made a good start. People have approached me wanting to buy the site or have advised me to charge for the information. The latter I will never do. Information should be free for the education of all who seek it out. The former I couldn't do. Under different ownership the site would become something... different. So I keep plugging away at it, not for profit per se but my goal would be to make a living off the site and do it full time. However, I have a family to support and so I have to have a "day" job that I work at quite a bit. This of course reduces the time I have for the site but I still manage to squeek out around 15 hours a week to it.

So I have something for you to consider. What is this site worth to you? We all spent money on aviation magazine that cost $7.95 or more every issue. Some of us get 3-4 of these every month and thats great. But do you read them everyday? Or several times a week? I watch the traffic numbers for the site. We get 40,000 visits a day from about 20,000 or so unique visitors. If you are one of those individuals then consider "Subscribing" to the site. If even 5-10% of the visitors subscribed for $2 a month then that could make a significant difference in the amount of time I can devote to the site and the projects we can work on. Just think about it, for less that 25% of the cost of one of the magazines you can help support the growth of this site and help make it the premiere warbird site on the internet.

And if you don't feel inclined to support the site then it will still be here for you to check out every day. It's completely voluntary but thank you for taking the time to check this page out.

Support Our Advertisers, it really does help.

I have placed Amazon links all over the site, linking to items thought were appropriate to the page. However, you don't need to buy that item to help us out. Just follow any Amazon link on the site to Amazon, then search for what you are looking for from there. We get credit for it and those moneys go to help support the site and fund it's expansion. Every Little bit helps.

I also accept donations of aviation books and magazines, which will be added to the WRG library. Duplicates will be sold to generate funds for the site. This is in no way required and you should only donate if you want to. You can also buy books for the site directly from Amazon, for a wish list of the books the site is looking for go here. Thank you for your support.
