Miss America has a bad day...
Chuck Gardner reports, "Miss America, flown by Brent Hisey, blew a hole in the side of the engine during a qualification run and dead-sticked onto the runway. Hitting hard, the P-51 bounced into the sand and brush before going up on its nose and ground-looping. Mr. Hisey is fine and his insurance agent was in the crowd! It will take at least a year to rebuild. A very unfortunate incident."
