Remarks:
Top scorer in 353rd FG. P-47 hit by flak during strafing at Wesendorf Airdrome and forced to belly-in near Nienburg. E&E while fighting with Dutch Underground until the arrival of Allied Armies to Holland. Rejoined the 353rd FG on April 22,1945. All of Duncan's victories were achieved while flying the P-47D Thunderbolt. Duncan remained in command of the 353rd FG, postwar, until September 9, 1945.
